POLIDENT PARTNERS WITH JABATAN KEBAJIKAN MASYARAKAT TO HELP MALAYSIAN DENTURE WEARERS IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE

 GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Sdn Bhd (“GSK”), a science-led global healthcare company, today launched its partnership with Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM) on the ‘Lebih Yakin Dengan Polident’ (More confident with Polident) campaign. The four-month long campaign aims to reach out to over 180,000 senior citizens and members of the community to raise awareness on proper oral healthcare through education and sampling activities. The focus will be on denture wearers, to enable them to do more, feel better and live longer, in line with GSK’s vision. The campaign partnership ultimately intends to elevate oral health standards amongst Malaysians.


In Malaysia, tooth loss is a problem among adults and the elderly with 76.9% of those between the ages of 35 to 44 years and 23.9% of those between the ages of 60 to 70 years affected. As a result, the incidence of denture wearers is high and the percentage is expected to rise.

As the part of the " lebih yakin Dengan Polident " campaign , the GSK polident team will be visiting 12 key location in malaysia to reach out to senior citizens and members of the  community with free dental screenings and Polident's cleanser and adhensive samples .
